This is golden triangle point. You are on Thai soil, on a small hill located 30 min drive from Mae Sai. Mekong river could be seen as a wide water flowing from top to bottom of the picture. On your right side is Laos, and Myanmar is at the upper left separated with Thailand by river Mae Sai which flows into Mekong river in front of you.

There are a few hotels and guesthouses, an opium museum, restaurants and shops selling souvenirs at this place. There are also pick up cars and buses tourists can take to go other towns.
