The above pictures show the inside of first class sleeper train compartment. These cabins are air-conditioned private rooms with lower and upper sleeping berths, waching basin, etc. The common toilets and shower rooms are on-board the same train car. These compartments are used for the routes between Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Nong Khai (north east), and Bangkok and the southern cities. Normally a train contains only 1 or 2 first class sleeping cars for the overnight routes.

The train provides bed sheets, pillow and pillow case and blanket.
