Damnoen Saduak floating market is located in Ratchabury province, about 100 km west of Bangkok. It is roughly about 1.5 hours drive from Bangkok ( not taking the time of travel in Bangkok traffic ). This floating market is open daily from 6 in the morning till about noon time, with weekends and full moon days having more shops and people. There tourists can buy local products such as basketary, cloths, other hand made items, fruits and vegetables, etc. Normally people take a bus from a terminal in Bangkok to Samut Songkhram bus station where local transport can be arranged to the floating market.
