Phukradung can be reached from Loei, Udon Thani, Khon Kaen or Phetchabun. Highway 2019 reachs the starting point of the Phukradung climb where there is a national park's service center. Tourists can get porters, tickets for tents at the summit, etc. at this service center. From here the climbing trail is about 5km to the top. Once at the top of the mountain ones need to walk 4 km to reach the National park office and the camp site.

PhaNokAnn is a view point at the eastern edge where breathtaking sunrise view can be had.
