To go to Koh Chang form Bangkok, one could take a bus at Eastern Bus termianl to Trat town, a distance of about 315 km ( driving time around 4.5 hours ).
From Trat town there are taxies to get to Laem Ngop boat pier which is 18km from Trat. One ferry goes to several locations on Koh Chang island and takes 30min to a few hours depending on the destinations.
There are ferries going to Koh Mak and Koh Kut islands ( which are outside Koh Chang national park ). Travel on Koh Chang island can be made by Jeep taxies, motorcycle taxies or on bikes or on foot.
