Vimanmek Teakwood Royal Mansion
Vimanmek Royal Mansion is a large building made of teakwood gilded with gold. Removed from Koh Sichang in Chonburi province, it was rebuilt in 1900 by the order of King Rama V. The building has many exhibition rooms some of which are maintained in the atmosphere of the past. Other buildings in the same compound are also used as museums. Opened daily from 0900Hrs to 1600Hrs and guided tours are available.
